This one is for Carol Marine! She loves to paint old trucks, so when I saw this old Chevy Truck parked on display, I had to stop and give it a try. Not many choices of vantage point, and a couple of fire ants objected to where I set up! Still it was a worthy subject!

DeleteThanks Chris! The truck looks straighter in the painting in person than in this photo of it .I think the camera is distorting a bit. It was fun to do. I'll be looking at these differently.

Thanks Julie! I am fond of yellow, too, especially in bathrooms! Wakes me up and cheers me up at the same time, even before the coffee is brewed. Hmmmm, i say, looking around at current bathroom with dull muddy tepid walls....Carol may have done more here than induce me to paint a truck!

ReplyDeleteHi, Melanie! I'm glad you like it. I've spent the last 24 hours struggling with getting my email to work (or not, as the case maybe), instead of painting. I'm sure it will work eventually, but I'd rather be painting!
DeleteComputers can be frustrating, but useful. Hope you get it fixed soon so you can get back to painting. I have some personal obligations to take care of this month so I'm not painting for a while either.
