Return of the Heron

Back at Lake Crabtree in mid afternoon. Thought I was going to be rained out, but the shelter of the gazebo kept the light rain off my paper and it blew over. I left the gazebo and the dock out of this painting (if you recognize the view from A Place to Rest). The heron was a little annoyed to be bothered in this fishing spot, so I tried not to jump every time the bumblebee buzzed me from behind and the skinks made their surprisingly loud racket in the underbrush!

Aloha!

    1. This spot is just a great place to paint! Or frankly, just hang out, except I'm not very good at that. So, painting makes me slow down and look and really think, which is really good for me!
