So great to be back at the easel after the Holidays...thankful for the time with family and to be heading in to the New Year on my feet again. Today it became really clear to me when I get paint on my fingers and on the canvas, the world just becomes a brighter and happier place.

First time I've been to the North Carolina Museum of Art and it is a lovely facility. Definitely a must-see exhibit and I understand the hours have been extended. Give yourself lots of time and take advantage of the knowledgeable docents. Here's to paint, today and in 1633. Aloha!
