Crystal Palette


Okay, pun intended! Original still-life from watercolor class today...I'm thinking it may be the only painting of a crystal vase and a watercolor palette, but I would be happy to see other examples!

      This was really fun to do. I really wonder how those who do very elaborate drawings before they paint keep track of where the lights and darks go without actually shading them!

    I like the way the pastel colors reflect off the crystal. Very convincing glass.
