Final session Amber and Azure
Very happy with the sense of the individual that this painting is moving toward. Perhaps I caught a little something of her. These sessions seemed to just fly, and it was really hard to put the paintbrush down tonight.
I went back on your blog and enjoyed the journey. This portrait captures the energy of her as well as making me wonder what she is thinking about. Love the colors you have used.
Thanks Julie! I've been enjoying your blog for some time, both the paintings and the artist tips. Usually I put these away after the session, but I might go back and try to "finish" this...a little more time with the eyes (they're a little off kilter!) and putting the highlights back in the hair...and I'll post a better photo. Such a great model!
